Talk Title : Machine Learning for rapid geographical source attribution of Salmonella Enteritidis infections.

Dr Lauren Cowley has been prize fellow of bioinformatics at the University of Bath since September 2018. Prior to joining Bath, Lauren worked at Public Health England for 4 years and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health for 2 years. Her research centres around using sequencing technology to track outbreaks and emergence of infectious diseases. She has mostly worked on Escherichia coli, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Ebola and SARs-CoV-2. She is currently deployed to the UK cabinet office as an embedded scientist on the UK COVID-19 response.
