Dr. Goh is an Associate Professor in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. He received a Bachelor in Chemical-Bioprocess Engineering in 2002 and worked as a research scientist in Singapore A*STAR/National University of Singapore for two years. Later, he completed his PhD research in Protein Engineering (2007). Dr Goh started his research team focusing on extremophiles, in particular, thermophiles and halophiles. He is interested in Protein Engineering, Enzymology, amplicon and shotgun metagenomics, microbial comparative genomics and transcriptomics. He has published more than 60 indexed articles. Currently, he serves as an editorial member in Scientific Report, Frontiers in Microbiology, Catalysts, and Amylase
